Our Leadership Team at Safeharbor

At Safeharbor Christian Church, we are committed to helping each other encounter Jesus, pursue Jesus and unleash the Gospel by serving in the church, the community and around the world. Those on our staff and leadership team have also committed to this mission and we are grateful for them!

Daniel White
Lead Pastor

Dan came to Safeharbor as our Lead Pastor in June 2009. He and his wife, Tammy, have been in church ministry since they were married in 2001.
Dan is passionate about directing people toward Jesus, no matter where they may be on their spiritual journey. He often says that he desires for people to experience what it’s like to “live as though we have nothing to prove and nothing to lose; only something really good to experience, in Jesus.”

Dan won the coveted Central Florida Fantasy Football trophy in 2013, drinks too much coffee, tears up when he hears a really good song, loves the Sanford/Lake Mary community, and is excessively proud of his 4 children.
Dan has never been a dog lover, until he and his family brought home Lola, their Labrador Retriever.

080a2270Kevin MacDonald

Discipleship Pastor

Kevin joined our staff in October of 2015. He’s worked for various other churches and contributes greatly to our team. Kevin is a go-getter, intentional, thoughtful and hard working. He is in touch with all of our IDR (small group) leaders regularly to encourage, provide guidance and check up on the “health” of each group. He also oversees our Family Ministry to ensure it is an efficient and safe environment for your children to learn and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
Kevin has been gluten free since 2003 (before it was cool), makes a mean quiche, subscribes to “,” was a stand in double for Luk Longley during the 1998 NBA Finals, and is the only male in his home of 6 (including the dog and hamster).

Matt Clark Family Pastor

Matt Clark joined the team in July 2017 as Family Pastor. His role is shared with LifePoint Christian Church helping unite resources, purpose and implementation between the two churches. Matt’s goal is to CREATE moments to CONNECT people to COMMUNICATE truth (overseeing birth-12th) and help foster Shared Family Experiences that contribute to building strong families.

Matt loves to…
» CREATE: crafting moments to engage.
» CONNECT: building bridges to influence.
» COMMUNICATE: unpacking truth to transform.

Matt met his wife (Stephanie) as Juniors at Youth Group and has been married since 1993. He and his wife enjoy ministry together and finds it a challenge to make his wife laugh after all these years. He and his teen son (Bailey) enjoy bouldering, gaming and borrowing his family’s camper-van to go on a RoadTrek together.

Matt is an extrovert who loves people, has always had cats, and cries over Americas Got Talent golden-buzzer moments.

Jordan Swan

Worship Leader

Jordan grew up being an active member of the Safeharbor Youth Group. He then became a summer intern and is now serving as a Worship leader as well as the head of Sunday morning logistics at Safeharbor. Jordan has been a long-time drummer within the Worship Band at our church and several others. We are thrilled to see Jordan grow and invest his gifts among the people of Safeharbor and our community.

 Angeley Wenner

Administrative Assistant

Angeley is passionate about missions and recently returned from Brazil as a missionary who pulled together local churches and utilized resources donated to her organization, One Hope, to help the homeless community find hope. She taught many Brazilians the English language using the Bible, brought food to and supplies to their camps, and built relationships with them.

Angeley’s time in Brazil has come to an end, but her ministry hasn’t. One Hope Florida and One Hope Brazil is now One Hope International. Angeley is in the process of obtaining her non-profit status and continues to impact the lives of those homeless and needy here in the states.

We are thrilled to utilize Angeley’s passions for people and outreach in our office.
