WELCOME
Welcome to the Safeharbor Christian Church worship service! The saying, “Distance makes the heart grow fonder,” is such a true statement. We are so glad to see everyone today as we gather together for the first time in three months to worship. Rest assured that all of the necessary precautions are being taken to ensure everyone’s safety.
COVID Precautions
  • We are keeping a pace consistent with recommendations from state and local leaders.
  • Remain Flexible – plans may change (they have already!).
  • Coffee & Snacks are on hold. Feel free to bring your own.
  • Arrive early, finding a seat may take some extra time.
  • Masks are encouraged, but not required. We have extras on-hand for those who need them.
  • Gloves will be worn by those who are serving in key areas.
  • We ask that you register to attend–this helps us plan for adequate seating.
  • Families may sit together. 6ft of separation should be observed otherwise.
  • When our auditorium reaches capacity (about 50 ppl), overflow viewing areas are available.
  • Our facilities will be sanitized before and after each service.
  • We are limiting points of contact & social distancing will be observed
      • Self-Contained Communion cups will be placed on a table for pick-up in the foyer
      • Offering boxes are located in the foyer and back of auditorium
      • Bulletins will be digital and posted on our website
      • Doors will be open and closed by greeters, etc.
  • Family ministry areas (Marina & Turtle Bay) are currently closed
      • We will continue to provide an online experience for Pre-K to 5th Grade.
      • We plan to reopen family ministry areas in phases beginning this June
      • The Marina will open first, then Pre-K, then nursery
      • Our services are currently “family-style”
  • If you are feeling sick, someone in your house is sick, or you suspect that you may have a virus, we ask that you stay home and watch the service online.
  • Also, if you are at-risk, vulnerable, elderly, or immunocompromised, we encourage you to stay home and watch our livestream.
  • And Finally, NO JUDGEMENT – We are all working out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). Our responses ought to be expressions of faith, but there may be differing faithful responses (see Romans 14 for an example).
If you’re uncomfortable attending in-person, we are happy to have you join us online.
If you’re ready to join us, we ask that you observe social distancing guidelines, and give send love to those who are not ready to attend in-person yet. Let love be our anthem!
“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” -Colossians 3:14
